I'm sitting in a bar, sipping my Bloody Mary
Because I have a big broken heart to carry
My mind goes back to that island, the Nonootyt
Where my love life started to look pretty bright

I was a jazz pianist at the hotel
And I must say Larry played his cards very well
I gave him an invitation to my suite
To fulfill my every lustful deed

We made love, we had really passionate night
But when I woke up he was out of my sight
I searched high and low and found him in distress
And we were again united after that mess

We were supposed to become man and wife
But I was dumbed right after Larry five
I was succesful in my little undercover work
And I was united with my little leisure suit jerk

But our bliss didn't last very long
For some reason something went wrong
Our ways separated, this time it was permanent
Once again it turned out to complete dissapointment

All the types I have met, all the nightly chases
Like him I was looking for love in several wrong places
He was not a perfect man but he was perfect for me
Without him my life is filled with sadness and misery

Last time I saw him he was on TV dating show
For me that really was the final blow
How he could forget me twice in a row?
That is so harsh, that is just so low

Here I sit alone in a smoky bar room
Listening to a very sad sax tune
Why is he the only thing I can think?
